This package has appeared on Dapper but not on Breezy. ¿What would be the standard way of installing it in Breezy? ¿Will it appear in backports? (¿Are breezy backports already active?) I will do any work that is necesary to backport this beast.

The package doesn't install on breezy. You could request that bzflag be
included in backports. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports.
