Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Background on setup

Test boxes have pidgin (xubuntu karmic), empathy (Ubuntu Karmic) and Kopete (kubuntu Karmic)

My main system has 64bit jaunty on it running pidgin.

Empathy and kopete crash pidgin on my main system if I close the chat window that contains the bonjour protocol.

The only system that doesn't seem to crash it is the pidgin client on Xubuntu.

This seems to be constantly repeatable with the same result each time.
