Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

python-minimal: installed version 2.5.2-3ubuntu1, latest version: 2.5.2-0ubuntu1
python: installed version 2.5.2-3ubuntu1, latest version: 2.5.2-0ubuntu1
libgnutls13: installed version 2.0.4-1ubuntu2.5, latest version: 2.0.4-1ubuntu2.6
libc6: installed version 2.7-10ubuntu4, latest version: 2.7-10ubuntu5
libxcb-xlib0: installed version 1.1-1ubuntu1, latest version: 1.1-1ubuntu1.1
libxcb1: installed version 1.1-1ubuntu1, latest version: 1.1-1ubuntu1.1
libspeex1: installed version 1.2~rc1-1, latest version: 1.1.12-3ubuntu0.8.04.1

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok, I run Xubuntu Hardy amd64.

> python-minimal: installed version 2.5.2-3ubuntu1, latest version: 2.5.2-0ubuntu1
installed 2.5.2-3ubuntu1 .. Isn`t _latest version stated here, actually older that installed?
Latest available in Hardy repository is 2.5.2-0ubuntu1,
Do you want me to install older version of that package?
Maybe some applications needed newer one and installed it?

> python: installed version 2.5.2-3ubuntu1, latest version: 2.5.2-0ubuntu1
installed now, 2.5.2-3ubuntu1 .. Latest available in Hardy repository is 2.5.2-0ubuntu1
Do I also need to install older package?

> libgnutls13: installed version 2.0.4-1ubuntu2.5, latest version: 2.0.4-1ubuntu2.6
Installed now 2.0.4-1ubuntu2.6 , It seems it updated itself during the day.

> libc6: installed version 2.7-10ubuntu4, latest version: 2.7-10ubuntu5
installed 2.7-10ubuntu4, latest available in hardy-updates repository: 2.7-10ubuntu4
How can I upgrade package that is not available in Hardy repository?

> libxcb-xlib0: installed version 1.1-1ubuntu1, latest version: 1.1-1ubuntu1.1
installed 1.1-1ubuntu1 , latest available in hardy repository is 1.1-1ubuntu1
How can I update package to version that is not in Hardy repository?

> libxcb1: installed version 1.1-1ubuntu1, latest version: 1.1-1ubuntu1.1
installed 1.1-1ubuntu1, latest available in hardy repositories is 1.1-1ubuntu1
How can I update package to version that is not in Hardy repository?

> libspeex1: installed version 1.2~rc1-1, latest version: 1.1.12-3ubuntu0.8.04.1
installed 1.2rc1-1 , latest available from hardy-updates repository is 1.1.12-3ubuntu0.8.04.1
Also Do you think I should install older version of package, even if some application requires
newer one?

Thanks,

the retrace failed. please submit another crash report with apport.

it is unclear where the problem with the retracing actually is. either you can retrace yourself using the ffmpeg-dbg package, or just file another crash report to try again. in generally, the retracer does work.
