As filed in bug 397058 which seems to be getting ignored (so I'm assuming it's in the wrong place):

I've been experiencing lockups on the last few Karmic kernels. My less-than-informed opinion is that it's in NFS4 somewhere, given the stack traces and the soft lockup message at the end of traces:
