Looks nice. The website is not very clear: I guess it records a user session. Is it possible to add/code some assertion as well? Like, "if I click on this button, it should display 5 tasks"

I definitely think we're going to need to have some solution for gui testing as we tend to have an ample number of regressions in functionality exposed only at the browser level, so I think this is probably more than a wishlist.

Perhaps an initial step for this bug would be to find another pygtk project that uses mago for doing interface testing, that we could borrow ideas from? Anyone know of such a project? gedit?

In mago code repository there are some examples. The easiest ones are for Gedit.
