videos are not playing properly mainly in orkut and sometimes it plays properly on you tube.

Thank you for the update. I'm wondering which specific versions of the plugins you have installed. If possible, could you run the following command in a terminal and post the results?

apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree swfdec-mozilla mozilla-plugin-gnash adobe-flashplugin
