This is what I get when I sudo apt-get --reinstall install libcamel1.2-14" The notice indicates that the file I am trying to download/update/reinstall/etc is CORRUPTED, I presume that means that the respository has a corrupted file and that is why I can not get it to work. Any other suggestions??

It seems that there was an error on your system when trying to install a particular package. Please execute the following command, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal:

sudo apt-get clean

Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your issue. If so please set the bug's status to Invalid. Thanks in advance!

I am still having problems with this bug. I can not delete it or correct it and it will not allow me to up date Firefox.
Bummer!

How about some solutions as this has been going on over six months without a solution.

How can I remove all firefox applications and dependencies and do a fresh install of firefox (preferably 3.6)?
