Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot

Since I upgraded to karmic, I have the following problem with Latex files. Say I install auctex and texlive and open a tex-file, then the menu items "Command" and "Ref" do not work anymore (they come up empty when clicking on them). This seems to be a problem with the new gtk, it worked in the non-gtk version. In the attached screenshot, you can see that I click on the "Ref" menu but it comes up empty.

Pedro Villavicencio: I assume that you removed the status as duplicate of bug #415101 by mistake as well. I put it back. If you really meant to remove it, please add a bit of rationale in the comments. Thanks.

(What about those other changes?)
