Bug Description

I can't update my myspace status for some reason. I'm using Firefox 3.5 on Ubuntu Jaunty. I was trying to update my status but whenever I click into the text box, it doesn't change into the editor that happens when you try to update it. This problem has been happening for a LONG time now. It used to work but now it don't. I think maybe it is something to do with the Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.7 thing not being compatible with 3.5. I'm not sure but something is telling me that that is why. Please help with this problem. Thank you!

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox-3.5 -ProfileManager

I tried Firefox with another profile and it worked the way I wanted it
to. I disabled all the add-ons in my main profile and it still messes up.
