Clicked signals are not delivered to the plugin while mouseover are correctly received.

Clicks done with control key pressed are received by the plugin as normal clicks.

Confirmed on Karmic x86_64. Started happening about a month ago. This makes it impossible to play embedded youtube videos, although videos on the youtube site itself play automatically.

Also other Flash sites are affected, i.e. online courses based on the
SCORM/AICC standard; as I wrote in a note clicking with control key
pressed is an annoying but usable workaround.

I've noted this problem with the flash plugin, but also that minimizing and then restoring the browser window usually restores clickability. Does this work for anyone else?

With openbox as window manager it does not work. I'll check ASAP with
metacity and with compiz.

May I suggest a title change? Something like "Flash Player does not correctly handle clicks"?

That might explain my success -- I'm running Kubuntu Karmic with desktop effects disabled.
