Jaimeson, thanks for your bug report. Please could you upgrade your ubuntuone packages, and let us know if this is still causing problems for you? There have been many changes lately, particularly with authentication, so this problem may have already been fixed. If it is still an issue, please could you describe exactly the sequence of events, and the exact text of the password prompt? This will help us identify where and why it is asking for a password. Thanks.

I'm assuming Walter and Jaimeson are referring to the keyring password prompt? If so, you can reset this password by renaming your keyring and setting it up again:

1) Applications->Accessories->Terminal, then run:
sudo mv ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring.old

2) Logout of Ubuntu or restart

3) When you login to Ubuntu and Ubuntu One is started, you should get a prompt to set your keyring password

Thank you,

Joshua
