Bug Description
1) Linux version:
Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009
2) Tried to install:
java jre6
3)
4)
Start installtion using Add/Remove -> selecting Java jre6.
Java installation generated an error.
I was entering text in another application during the installation. Some key strokes may have been registered by the installer (poping windows).
Add/Remove did not work after that. I had to use Synaptic Package manager to fix Java jre (reinstall).
Java still did not work with FireFox (I also installed the java plugin) after that.
I have not tried to re-boot the system to see if this may fix the problem.
Java is working - I can start FreeMind ...
Only Firefox seems to have problem.
