Bug Description

I have a 4 years old laptop with Kubuntu 9.04 installed with all updates.
After resuming from STR, both the wired and wireless network adapters disappear, they don't show up when I run the command 'ifconfig -a'.
After some investigation I found that the b44(which is responsible for the wired network adapter AFAIK) module is not there after resume, so when I load it using the command 'sudo modprobe b44' it shows up again and I'm able to use it.

I have attached the output of 'lspci -vv' as well as 'hwinfo'

I'd like to add that the issue doesn't happen all the time, but frequently enough to be annoying, at least once every three STRs or something.

Please reply if this is still an issue in a supported release.
