UVF exception: kiwi 1.9.3 -> 1.9.8

The upstream developer of kiwi raise awareness of the fact that we should update kiwi in Ubuntu. The new version is much more usable and fixes a bunch of annoying fixes. It is well tested from the Python community and looks like a good idea.

the changes are rather big and the changelog is very long... are there any really critical bugs fixed that would justify a update?

Sebastian: Daniel filed this bug due to my request. It's in my interest as an upstream maintainer to have the latest possible version included in dapper. It'd be kind of sad to have a very old version included, I wouldn't really be able to recommend its usage.

Daniel also told me yesterday that nothing is actually using kiwi yet, so I can't really see the harm of updating it.

However, if you really want a critical bug, I recently fixed kiwi to allow resources to be loaded from compresses files (gz & bz2), it should make the examples in the kiwi-examples package to run at all.

ok, fine with me then although your "critical bug" sounds more like a feature addition... the changes sound sane

Hm, rather large, but since kiwi has no reverse depends, it seems to me rather save to update this. I agree.
