I provided UbuntuOne with a correct login and password from launchpad and it still fails to connect.

This bug is not allowing me to connect at all, just lets you click it but nothing happens.

I would also like to report this problem when trying to use the connect button in my Ubuntu One folder.

From the original report logs, it looks like the original reporter did not click on "Add this computer" after logging in. Beyond that, there isn't enough information to determine if the problem is something else.

I am using the ubuntu 9.10. Ubuntu One came together with the fresh installation. However upon logging in, it claims that I am using a newer version of the client and incompatible with the server. I am absolutely puzzled what happened.

Right now I still fail to connect though the message didn't appear anymore.

I've added my pc from the ubuntu one page, but it still fails to connect. No idea why. Firestarter I do not believe is the problem.

We have a fix you can try in our beta PPA. If you follow the steps in the following FAQ you should be able to try out this new fix: https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+faq/836 If you are already using the beta PPA, then please check for and install the latest updates via Update Manager and then restart Ubuntu One.
