Hi,

does any of you able to provide a stacktrace of the crash? normally apport should be triggered when the crash occurs.
Without the stacktrace it's unlikely the crash can be fixed, please look to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Thanks

I'll use my other disk and re-install gnome-bluetooth.

I have been using Blueman as it is very stable.

I have been trying to use the gnome-bluetooth applet - and I cannot get it to work.

It will not find any bluetooth devices.

Blueman worked fine. I un-installed Blueman just in case it was interfering with gnome-bluetooth.

I re-installed agnome-bluetooth - still cannot find any devices.

Nothing in the logs...

Something must be seriously broken - I am downloading Alpha 5 64 bit and I'll re-install from scratch and see how I go with repeating this. I'll enable the debug libraries too.

i have done a complete re-install of Karmic 64bit Alpha 5 - then patched

gnome-bluetooth does not allow any new devices to be paired.

It does not seem to work at all.

Ok its referenced in this bug with a suggested fix:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-bluetooth/+bug/423090

So i'll make the changed suggested and try and test the headset removal.

Hello,

could you give news about this bug.

Thanks

Hi,
I can't reproduce this anymore, using fully updated Ubuntu 9.10 (64bit)
