Flashplugin do not use pulse on karmic amd64. For workaround i use flash 10 beta 64bit from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html . It's working great for me.

Thank you for your bug report! Do you still have problems with the flash plugin in newer Ubuntu versions?

I do not use karmic any more. Problem is depressed by the time
