netbook desktop not launching

I just updated Karmic netbook remix with the latest updates (8/12/2009) and now the desktop will not appear. All I see is one big brown screen.

Can you please try running it in a terminal and seeing if there is any output.

Sorry, running the command 'netbook-launcher' in a terminal. Please also make sure that you have a fully updated system.

Just exited another application and the desktop went brown again--had to reboot.

This problem persists and I wish someone would fix it---I can not test the rest of the system with the screen going going brown and constantly having to reboot.

Has this bug been corrected by the 0.2.4 release of libclutk and/or the 2.1.4 release of netbook-launcher, now in Karmic?

i have had one lockup after updating but let me test today and see if i have any more.
