Bug Description

Binary package hint: tomboy

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10

tomboy:
  Installed: 0.15.4-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.15.4-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.15.4-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://ubuntu.saix.net karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

This morning I updated Karmic Alpha. I expected Tomboy to start as per usual, but it didn't. I tried starting it from the terminal, and got this:

$ tomboy
[INFO]: Initializing Mono.Addins
error: line 37: multiple table definitions
Failure loading aff file /usr/share/myspell/dicts/en_ZA.aff

At this point, Tomboy doesn't crash, but it doesn't bring up any form of GUI either.

I just performed the system update. I have the same tomboy version, and it runs normally without any problem.

It seems as the problem is due to broken /usr/share/myspell/dicts/en_ZA.aff file, which should be fixed. Take a look at similar problem here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/debian/+source/openoffice.org-dictionaries/+bug/398320

Thank you.

This has solved the error messages, but Tomboy still does not start.

It now simply prints: "[INFO]: Initializing Mono.Addins" and stalls.
