Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase
Ever since the upgrade to Kubuntu Karmic on my laptop running 64-bit Kubuntu, I have had a problem with the mouseover selection indicator on the icons in Dolphin's main view. The indicator is very laggy and lags very far behind where the mouse actually is. If I use the rubberband selector to select icons, it also lags very much when the selection indicators appear and disappear. This seems to happen only with the 64-bit version, and I was unable to reproduce it on a 32-bit installation. The problem has been present since the first beta of KDE 4.3, and is still present in the most recent version.

This is still happening with Lucid and KDE 4.4.x, and it still only seems to happen on AMD64 systems.
