xfprint4 formatting problems

System: Xubuntu 9.04
Package: xfprint4
version: 4.6.0-1ubuntu3

When trying to print a text document through xfprint4, the resulting page is written in XML format. Image files are scaled down to a corner of a page.
Text documents should come out in a normal format, while images should be printed at full size.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Lucid Lynx. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. I've been testing it on Lucid. xfprint4 worked fine with images and pdf documents, but it printed a series of random charactes when I tried it for odt or doc files. Glad to help.

Thank you very much for taking the time to test this bug in Lucid. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information.

The random characters when printing odt or doc files would be a different bug.
