Bug Description
JavaScript prompt()s suck in general. They are modal, ugly, uncustomisable, and almost unusable in IE8 (it blocks them by default). Unfortunately, the file browser uses them extensively -- this needs to stop.
They are dying painful deaths in my new-file-browser branch.
