NetworkManager crashed Wireless Option missing

Sometimes, the network-manager applet in the gnome notification area change the network status to "Networking Disabled". Wifi connection is still working.
If I left click:
"NetworkManager is not running"
If I right click:
Wireless option is not available anymore(missing)
If I hover the mouse over the icon:
"Networking Disabled"
The only working(not 100%) solution is to restart the system.
