Bug Description

discovering the possibility of tabbing in Nautilus is not that easy. after you know that, then you also know that there's not a convenient graphical way to access to it.
This lack of usability would be filled trough adding an easy new "New Tab" button on the toolbar.
(this while waiting for a review of the whole interface upstream...)
sorry for my poor english
regards

A firefox style "+" button would be awesome. Nautilus GUI is getting an overhaul already, wonder how this would fit in.

I agree. In KDE I usually add it myself as I can edit the layout and buttons of the applications. But Gnome/GTK+ is way more limited/primitive, not allowing anything like that :(

You mean something like this?

As soon as I'm finished with the toolbar editor, adding a button (in the toolbar) to add a new tab is as easy as adding a new line in an xml file.
