i couldnt figure out how to config manually
let me know and ill try to diagnose

the card isnt detected ...unknown device

You will need to try the very latest iso's to get the correct
linux-restricted-modules for your card.

im using the iso release on april 20th

No, Flight 6 is older than Beta. The necessary packages were just released today (Sunday), so you'll need to test tomorrow's daily iso.

Feel free to submit any future bugs you may find. The ati x1400 should work with the fglrx driver, but not the radeon driver at the moment. You can learn more in bug 87244.
