Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I have applied a standard filter (Field "Wer" contains "Gra") to column F. When I delete the filter, row 2 doesn't show up again. Before I have applied the filter, I have fixed the first two rows.

1) The release of Ubuntu:
    Ubuntu 9.04 - Jaunty Jackalope
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic.
openoffice.org-calc:
  Installiert: 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3
  Kandidat: 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3
  Versions-Tabelle:
 *** 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 0
        500 http://at.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) What you expected to happen
row #2 should be restored after deletion of filter
4) What happened instead
row #2 remains hidden

What was in row 2 before you applied the filter? I see row 2 but it is empty for me.

Hi Chris,

row 2 was empty before the filtering. There has been NO data loss. The
only problem is that it doesn't display again after the deletion of the
filter.

Do you still have this issue with the new version in the ppa at https://launchpad.net/~openoffice-pkgs/+archive/ppa ? I can't seem to reproduce this problem with OOo 3.1.0 in the ppa.

Just installed OOo 3.1.0 from the ppa - the problem remains (look at
attachments)

Bildschirmfoto01.png ... tab after removal of standard filter

What steps did you do to remove the filter?

I just chose the menu entry in Daten/Filter/Filter entfernen (s. attachment)

Bu, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Jaunty reached EoL on October 23, 2010.
Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

I've tried recreating this bug with Maverick and was unable to given the information you've provided. Please upgrade and test. Does LibreOffice Calc work for you?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-calc

Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
