Bug Description

I use Alt-Shift as a key-sequence for changing keyboard layout (English <-> Russian).
It was configured during Ubuntu installation.
If I try to use multi-key sequences, like Alt-Tab-Shift (to go back in Alt-Tab list), system decides that I'm pressing Alt-Shift and switches Key Layout instead of doing what I wanted.
When I change sequence to Ctrl-Sfift instead of Alt-Shift, it does the same with all multi-key sequences containing Ctrl-Shift.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue , in the default Ubuntu 9.10 install , that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of the project.

This bug is too complex to be fixed with a fast and simple patch and needs further investigation before someone could start working on it.
For further info about papercuts criteria , pls read > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut

Don't worry though, This bug has been marked as "invalid" ONLY in the papercuts project.

Assigning this package to GTK+2.0 since that's the library that handles keyboard shortcurts for applications.

affects: ubuntu → gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu)
