I mean compared with something like the (without a "Switcher" activated) "Alt + Tab" with opacify and high graphics enabled.

You know the new Ubuntu login screen (e.g. http://effiejayx.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/ubuntu-10-04-karmic-koala-login-screen.jpg )? Why not use that pixelization (or whatever it is called) for the switcher backdrop? Or even that same graphic?

As this is an old bug, very broadly stated, and the switcher has more or less been redone anyway, closing this as invalid.
