Thanks for your bug. Could you describe what your panel issue is. That looks like a deskbar-applet issue. Bug description and actual words to tell people what happen can be useful too...

Was it fixed for dapper or is it only fixed for Edgy? The date here (a month before dapper release) suggests that it could have been fixed for dapper, however it doesn't work for my system (dapper, current upgrades).

I forgot to mention this in my original duplicate report (#55639), but the problem concerns deskbar-applet in "Button in panel" mode.

probably edgy only, if somebody comes with an easy patch for the issue we can do a dapper-updates upload with it

I use dapper, and every time I log in, a message error appear with "style.bg_pixmap[gtk.STATE_NORMAL] = pixmap
TypeError: can only assign a GdkPixmap or None"

I've opened a dapper backport task. The issue is fixed to edgy. If somebody figures what change fixed it and the change is easy enough backport it to dapper should be no issue

that's a minor bug, will not change to dapper
