Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

On Kubuntu Jaunty 9.04

I use an unprotected WLAN. When using network manager to connect to the WLAN. it opens kwalletmanager asking for master password (for no good reason in this case), I alway click "cancel" and it continues to connect succesfully.

When using an unprotected/unencrypted WLAN there is no WIFI password to store in kwalletmanager, hence there is no reason to open such dialog asking for master password. A similar situation occurs next time I boot, it automatically connects to my WLAN, now again it asks for the kwalletmanager master password (most likely) to get the WIFI password, which is not applicable in this situation.

Maybe this bug is in plasma-widget-network-manager, I am not sure. Any gnome users experiencing a similar situation (replacing kwalletmanager with gnome-keyring)?
