Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

This is still an issue attempting to perform an install in Ubuntu 10.04.1, the last release in which an accessibile installation using the screen-reader is possible.

this is gone now, the new "something else" area for partitioning does appear to be technically fully accessible, but a bit complicated (hard enough with eyes).
