Bug Description

When I upgraded to Karmic, seahorse doesn't seem to have a "Passwords" tab anymore. I'm not sure where it went.

Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.

Indeed. I just tested it, and the keyrings are not shown anymore (although you can *create* a new keyring going to File/New).

I also built the current GIT head from Gnome, with similar results. This does not seem to match my expectations, and a quick look at the git log does not show any such change in behaviour.

As such I am confirming it, and will check upstream.

The seahorse mailing list has this (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/seahorse-list/2009-August/msg00000.html)

With seahorse 2.27.5, I do not see my keyrings anymore.

This warning might be related:

** (seahorse:20589): WARNING **: could not find widget password-tab
for seahorse-key-manager.xml

** (seahorse:20589): CRITICAL **: initialize_tab: assertion
`self->pv->tabs[tabid].widget != NULL' failed

It seems that the password-tab is no longer present in the .xml file,
but seahorse still tries to load the keyring contents there...
