I have the same problem (and similar computer) with EasyPeasy 1.5 RC2. In particular, the installation process is quite ackwards as many screens (mostly during and after partitioning) are too tall, and when you try to click on a Next or Finish button, the screen moves up or down and you miss your button... Makes you fell stupid and unhappy :-(

I tried also Jolicoud (August version), and I did not have this problem, their installation process is really smooth.

I had this issue in EP 1.1, and it still exists in EP 1.5.
Machine: EeePC 900.
Example: Administration/Login Window.
The dialog is too large for the screen resolution (1024x600 on the EeePC 900), and OK, Cancel, Help buttons are not visible.
