Bug Description

Unsure if this is a dolphin or thunderbird bug.

To reproduce: compose an e-mail in thunderbird, bring up dolphin showing a directory to which you have access. Drag a file to the top right of the compose window on thunderbird. The "Attachments" pane will appear. Try to drop the file in the attachments pane - it will not appear. Even if the attachments pane exists with a file in it, you cannot drag & drop files from dolphin into the Attachments pane.

Using x86 Ubuntu 9.04 updated as of 4 August 2009, ample disk & RAM:
Linux kereru 2.6.28-14-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Sat Jul 25 00:28:35 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
thunderbird 2.0.0.22+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1
dolphin 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu4
KDE desktop

Hello Vik,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2009 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 408611

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

G
