Bug Description

When importing images from my Canon S50 digital camera, I receive this error:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
in <0x0026b> FileImportBackend:ChooseLocation (System.String path)
in <0x00163> FSpot.CameraFileSelectionDialog:SaveFile (Int32 index)
in <0x00140> FSpot.CameraFileSelectionDialog:Download ()
within the progress bar: "Error transferring file"
F-Spot is a great program, I hope this gets fixed before the end of Dapper gets out of Beta. I am using a fully dist-upgraded version of Dapper by the way.

This looks similar to #38010 except with a different backtrace. Most likely another libgphoto2 error

Same exact issue here using my Canon Powershot S400. Importing works fine with gthumb.

The same with a Canon Powershot A95. Not fixed with today's libgphoto2-2 new version (don't know if it was supposed to).

Fixed, I guess, with today's version (0.1.11-1ubuntu1) on a Canon Powershot A95. Thanks.
