Bug Description
I have attempted bonding two Intel Gigabit nics in the latest version of xubuntu. All attempts failed. I resorted to a fresh install of the previous version of xubuntu and the bond worked flawlessly right from the start. I posted a thread on the Ubuntu forums, listed below, and was unable to resolve the issue. In the current version of xubuntu both cards worked fine independently yet failed under a bond. While bonded the cards received proper ip configuration, could ping the gateway and gateway could ping the cards however no WAN could be accessed.
The forum thread to resolve the matter is:
http://
and bond method used from ubuntu site is:
https:/
The bond worked right from the start on the install of previous xubuntu with no issues.
