volume control is laggy

when i move the volume control slider in rhythmbox it takes about a second for the volume to change.

(the global volume control in the gnome-panel instantly effects the volume)

which release are you using?if dapper ,did you get that also in breezy?
i'm not having that problem with breezy release.

i am running dapper. i dont think this was the case in breezy (but i dont have a breezy install to test)

maybe you can try with live-cd ,so you can easily check that

Thanks for your bug. Do you still have the issue? Is that specific to rhythmbox? does totem-gstreamer does the same? What soundcard do you use?

Happens here too, using Gutsy. It doesn't happen in other apps such as Totem.

that's not clear that's the same issue or that the submitter has interest in your bug, could you rather open a new bug?
