I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope UNR (Ubuntu Netbook Remix), with kernel linux-image-
The Problem: When using an UMTS Connection via network-
Workaround: Killing NetworkManager and manually rmmod'ing the module hso remedies the situation and enables the system to shut down cleanly.
Expected Behaviour: NetworkManager should free /dev/ttyHS0 after termination of the connection or at latest after the UMTS device is removed, so that the hso module can be cleanly unloaded and doesn't block the shutdown.
