Hm. I'd like to note this also seems similar to a crash I was getting w/ ATI + AMD64 + compiz. I'm trying hard to remember what exactly was causing it.

Whatever it was, I disabled it. Most likely some compiz addon.

None of the ones in his list jumped out at me however.
