Bug Description

Binary package hint: catfish

Using locate (and find) in catfish, the file list displayed can be sorted by each column. When the list is sorted by date (the last column "last modified") the sorting is based on the string representation of the day. It should be sorted by year, month, day, time.

Work-around: around line 612 of catfish.py is where the data format is set. If you hack it to use the ISO (backwards) date then the sorting will work. (you then have to recompile catfish.pyc and now mine must be started from /usr/share/catfish or it can't find the glade file...)

I think this is an especially important bug because catfish does not have date filter options. So if you get a lot of results, you're really not helped.
