Bug Description

Binary package hint: pcmanfm

After having mounted my ftp folder with gvfs-mount,
when i try to copy my 380kb file in my distant folder with pcmanfm, the progress bar disappears at 100% but the file is sometimes less heavy than it should be, sometimes even 0kb sized.

With smaller files, it appears to work correctly, and with a simple cp command too.

Couldn't it be due to an internal timeout of pcmanfm if it doesn't expect the copy to take as much time ?
(just an idea...)

edit: today, the copy task stopped when the prgogress bar wasn't at 100% and pcmanfm and an error message appeared saying in french "opération non supportée".

Please help me, i would be very happy to be able to use gvfs with pcmanfm.

Actual pcmanfm is not design to work perfectly with gvfs. Maybe it's the cause of your problem.
But next major release of pcmanfm should deal better with gvfs (see http://blog.lxde.org/?p=445 for some details).

Could you reproduce it with the last version of pcmanfm (0.9) ?
You can test it if you are running (L)Ubuntu 10.10 or Lubuntu 10.04.

Thank you for your help.
