Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions for debugging audio problems at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

Sorry for my bad report. I just upgraded to 9.04 and sound just stopped working. I've tried to fix the volume levels and changing the sound servers in sound configuration menu, but it does not work.

The output of alsa-info.sh is there:

Thank you and sorry anyther time for my report.

Dear ubilibet you are welcome, but remember that you shouldn't mark or triage your own bugs, is better that you wait for others (like ubuntu bug squad) for check and try to reproduce if your report has enough information ;)

I will mark your report as new again for you.

Hi ubilibet,

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux 407387

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.
