Does Arora support NPAPI at all ? A quick check looks like no, as Arora doesn't see the plugin installed in the traditional places, Currently we have no direct web-kit support, although it'd be nice to add one of these days...

The support of Netscape plug-ins is based upon the QtWebKit you have installed. If you have Qt 4.4 installed on your system than flash etc will not work. Netscape plugin support was added in Qt 4.5. QtWebKit actually looks a large number of places to find your plugins.

Which version of Arora/Kubuntu are you using? Could you also paste the output of dpkg -L libqt4-webkit here please? Thanks in advance.

The answer to the earlier "which version of Arora/Kubuntu?" question was
Karmic and umm... I think 0.8 would've been the version of Arora in the
archive when the bug was filed.

Hmm, I suppose he would have to have had Qt 4.5 in jaunty too. Nevermind. This would be a Qt problem if gnash doesn't work, however.

Thank you for your bug report! Kubuntu Karmic is EOL, does this still occur under supported Ubuntu versions?
