Bug Description

Hi,

For about a month my Thinpad T60 has been freezing seemingly randomly on timescales of 1-2 hours with no obvious trigger.

I've tried various sorts of things to get rid of it but have not been succesful:
- run memtest -> no errors.
- adjusted xorg.conf, see attachment, as I suspected the intel graphics driver,
- uninstalled beagle and compiz,
- run off battery only,
- wireless is disabled
- instead of using 2.6.24-24-generic I started using 2.6.24-24-386, which worked without a crash since last Friday until the software update on Wednesday 29/07. Since then all recent kernel versions produce the crash.
- log files don't seem to contain obvious error messages.

Thanks

The freeze requires a complete power-off restart, mouse does not re-act, ctrl-alt-fkeys does not work either.
