Bug Description

To move from a tab to another in Firefox (and most application that i known) is ctrl + tab / ctrl + shift + tab
In nautilus is ctrl + pg up / pg down, the other way doesn't need two hand to move between tabs.

You can do ctrl+pgup with your right hand, using right ctrl.

yes, but the problem is that there is a inconsistency in the functions between aplications.. for example, ctrl + tab, in firefox, (or chome) and ctrl + pg up and ctrl + alt + pg up/down (for the same) in nautilus... (besides the fact of the need of the use of two hands)

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Changed in nautilus (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs)
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug #388508, which seems to be the master bug report for this issue. However, it seems like upstream refuses to use Ctrl+Tab for any GNOME application.

Please follow the conversation in the master bug from now on. Thanks!
