every game crashes after 10 minutes

Bug Description

release: Ubuntu 9.04

Every game I install changes after 10 minutes from the full-screen-mode to a normal window and I lose the control about it.

I am having this same problem, when compiz is enabled, I could provide more information, just tell me what you need?

to recreate the problem, just make sure compiz is enabled and start playing a game that uses openGL and run it fullscreen, game will crash after about 5 mins and you are left with a black window, game sound still running, keys still affecting game, but can't pass keystrokes of mouse to the gnome-desktop, so a hard reset is needed. I tested this with freedoom ans zsnes

As this bug actually is not reproducible by me in a fully updated Lucid i ask you if it still existing and in wich version of Ubuntu.
