cups fails to print using Custom Q1 receipt printer

Bug Description
Binary package hint: cups
When printing the test page I just get a 31 cm long white piece of the paper roll as output.
I'm using Ububtu 9.04 with all the latest updates and a beta driver for the printer which I got from custom.biz
I think it's very important to get POS hardware working with Ubuntu as it has a big potentially to increase the use of Ubuntu in business critical applications. And this printer is very good priced and has an attractive design!

This bug can be closed. The problem was that the paper was loaded in the incorrect way! It should be loaded the opposite way compared to for instance Star TSP-654..
