Theme changes suddenly

I opened VLC by playing http://video.debconf.org:8000/Lower_talkroom.ogv.m3u and all of a sudden the gnome theme changed from the default to the theme showed in the attached screenshot. I suppose it is the default gnome theme or something...

* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

It doesn't happen often but maybe more so if there is a low amount of memory left unused. I suspects so because on my laptop which only have 256 MiB of RAM this happens more frequently.
Usually I am using firefox when it changes.

I experienced this bug also. Got it while Opera crashed, it apperantly took down gnome-settings-daemon in the fall. Starting gnome-settings-daemon again makes things go back to normal. Is there any place I can find crash log for this app?
