Bug Description

Binary package hint: pauker

In 29/07 update appears :

Generating mime/codec maps...
bad .desktop file: /usr/share/app-install/desktop/pauker.desktop: ParsingError in file '/usr/share/app-install/desktop/pauker.desktop', [Desktop Entry]-Header missing

It appears in Karmic Koala alpha 3.

I'll create a debdiff file for it.

Thank you for your work there. However, this bug is actually a duplicate of bug 385248 which already has a Debian task on it. According to the Debian bug, they have already fixed this, so I would rather the updated version was just sync'd from Debian as opposed to sponsoring this change in Ubuntu.

I have a couple of comments on your package though:

1) The bug number in the changelog should be of the form "LP: #xxxxxx" so that it is automatically closed (yours is "LP# 406722", which would not work).
2) When you make Ubuntu-specific changes to a package (ie, the version has a "ubuntuX" suffix), then you need to update the maintainer in debian/control (in this case, it should be "Ubuntu Developers <email address hidden>").

Thanks
