tap-to-click and scrolling no longer work

when loading up, Xorg says (in Xorg.0.log:)

but after starting Gnome, two finger scrolling and touch to tap no longer work, irregardless of the settings in the Mouse>Touchpad menu.

Glad to hear it. I edited the gconf settings directly and it works fine.
